Layered Irish-American Wooden Flag
Celebrate both sides of your heritage with a handcrafted wooden flag combining the American and Irish flags in one distinctive layered design. The American flag forms the raised upper layer, revealing the green, white and orange Irish tricolor beneath.
Each flag is individually built from select pine in my Wilmington, Massachusetts workshop. The wood is torched before staining to bring out the natural grain and character throughout the finished piece.
Craftsmanship & Materials
The American portion features hand-carved, textured stripes and crisp vinyl stars, while the Irish tricolor is hand-stained in green, white and orange. The white center uses a translucent white stain that allows the natural wood grain to remain visible.
The two-layer construction is reinforced with four solid wood backers and surrounded by a 3/4" select-pine frame finished in black. Each flag receives four coats of polyurethane for a durable protective finish.
Made to Order & Ready to Display
Each flag is handcrafted one piece at a time and arrives with two heavy-duty hanging hooks installed for indoor display.
Available in three sizes, with typical production time of approximately 2-3 weeks. Free shipping is included.
Because each flag is made from natural wood, grain patterns, knots and subtle variations will differ from piece to piece, making every flag unique.
