Vertical or Horizontal Hung Wood American Flag

This handcrafted wooden American flag is available in either a vertical or horizontal hanging layout. Each piece is built from Select Pine, lightly torched to reveal the grain, and finished with satin‑black stripes and a matching black union for a bold, modern, subdued look.

The white stripes are left natural after torching to highlight the wood grain and create a rustic contrast. The union features vinyl stars by default, with an option to upgrade to raised black stars for a dimensional, fully subdued appearance.

Every flag includes two heavy‑duty D‑ring hangers on the back for easy displaying. Each piece receives four coats of satin polyurethane for long‑lasting protection and a smooth, premium finish.

When ordering, please select Vertical or Horizontal from the size boxes above. Star orientation is crafted differently depending on your choice.

Custom wooden flag designs are also available if you’d like this style personalized with your department, logo, or concept.

Handcrafted in Wilmington, Massachusetts using premium lumber and durable finishes. Because each piece is made by hand in my Wilmington, MA workshop, wood grain and finish may vary slightly, making every flag one‑of‑a‑kind.
